Calling all octopoda lovers. Octopuses symbolizes mystery, flexibility, fluidity, intelligence, adaptability, and unpredictability. (For Detroit Red Wing fans, it symbolizes our place in hockey history.) I think this is a perfect bowl for admiring. The glazing is wonderful, the pink interior is trimmed in a color called purple haze. The exterior is a breaking pink, purple and shimmering pewter color. The octopuses are decals, which are not food safe.
The piece is made with white porcelain clay. Unfortunately, the decals are not food safe. I would strongly suggest that this bowl be used for display in your home, office or spa.
