A beautiful, quiet, thoughtful piece of pottery, that is meant to be admired and displayed. The vessel has the slightest hint of blossoms, balancing on waves of color. A simple and elegant vessel with unlimited uses: functional or decor enhancing.
The piece was thrown on the potter's wheel using brown/beige stoneware, potter's slip, floral decals and glazed with a clear glaze. This vessel can be hand washed or place in the dishwasher. Of course the vessel is microwave safe. All of my handmade pottery is made with non-toxic stoneware clay and glazes. While they are microwave and dishwasher safe, they are also works of art and I recommend hand-washing to preserve the vibrancy of the glaze over time.
