Hand painted and ready to be used, this medium yellow flower is looking for a good home. Please note, the surface of the plate is not smooth, because of the many layers of colored slip and underglaze. If you're adventurous and have an eclectic vibe, this is a perfect opportunity to enjoy fun, usable ceramic art.

The piece was thrown on the potter's wheel using off-white stoneware. The interior is hand painted with an underglaze flower and glazed with a clear glaze. Because, the bottom of the plate is hand painted and has many layers, it is not smooth. The exterior is a a matt yellow glaze. This small plate can be hand washed or place in the dishwasher. Of course the plate is microwave safe. All of my handmade pottery is made with non-toxic stoneware clay and glazes. While they are microwave and dishwasher safe, they are also works of art and I recommend hand-washing to preserve the vibrancy of the glaze over time.
