This sunfish pottery bowl is hand painted and soda fired. The combination of the two techniques is unique and beautiful. The interior of the bowl is a blue/purple with a china paint painted bluegill sunfish in the middle. The exterior is a combination of off-whites and brown. A perfect gift for the holidays, a 9th wedding anniversary, or fish lover.
The bowl is made on a potter's wheel with white stoneware clay. The pottery bowl is food, microwave and dishwasher safe. But we recommend that the ceramic bowl be hand washed. The approximate finished dimensions of the ceramic sunfish bowl are:
